For instance, if the value is 10% for blacks, this statistic is interpreted as "The average black person in this metro area lives in a neighborhood where 10% of housing units are crowded."

Notes: Crowding defined as more than one person per room. Excludes metro areas with less than 5,000 population of the specified racial/ethnic group.
