Definition:
This indicator provides the share of the population that speaks a non-English language at home in the neighborhood where the average child lives. For instance, if the value is 10%, this statistic is interpreted as "The Hispanic child in this metro area lives in a neighborhood where 10% of the population speaks a non-English language at home."
Notes:
Language spoken by those aged 5+. Children defined as those under 18.
